Having put them in on a whim to balance the picture and not being artistic enough to do a fancy flower arrangement to fill the gap I suddenly thought that actually there was a bit of Isaiah 11:6 and 7 about it! We got this crib (as did so many I suspect) on a visit to the Holy Land in the 1980s and put it up every year.
